There is a great need for Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST). In today's fast-paced culture, the nervous system's normal ability to self-regulate can be greatly hindered. The long-term effects of recent technological changes have not been anticipated and need to be recognized. The ancient touch of BCST has much to offer us in it's ability to re-boot and re-regulate not only the nervous system, but every system of the body because of the practitioner's orientation to the deepest levels and expressions of being.
"The overall benefit of multiple sessions with Daniel is equanimity, enabling me to move through the world in a more integrated, peaceful, centered state of being, more in tune with how I wish to BE, either in solitude or in negotiation with the not-always-easy world." -K.S.

What can I expect in a session?
A session is 60-75 minutes in length, usually including 50-60 minutes of table work. Clients lie fully clothed on a table and the practitioner gently lays on hands, supporting the clients system as he is simultaneously guided by it. The practitioner may invite the client into a receptive place,
orienting to stillness and the inherent wellness within. Clients often experience a profound peace, restfulness, and rejuvenation.
Work often takes place at the head and sacrum, but is by no means limited to those areas of the body.
How many sessions will it take to notice a difference?
This varies for everyone, depending on their history, the acuteness of the situation, and many other factors. Some people begin to notice a significant difference after one session, and others may require more work to settle into the treatment process. Having a series of 3-4 treatments will have more of a significant impact for most people.
What are you doing while you work? What exactly is happening?
There are many answers to this - it isn't a one-size fits all question. I can say that my role is to facilitate my clients to re-synchronize into a more natural state of balance, which in turn allows the therapeutic process to unfold and reveal itself to me. This clarity and relationship is grounded in presence and stillness, which is why it might seem sometimes like there isn't a lot "happening". Part of this synchronizing is allowing the mental chatter to recede to the background.

"My first visit with Daniel was quite amazing. The treatment felt like "prayer" to me, in that I was filled with a kind of inward blessing...I would definitely recommend Daniel for anyone looking for some grounding both spiritually and physically, and for overall wellness." -C.H.
What is Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy?
There is sacredness in healing. Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy utilizes stillness as a doorway for the body's re-alignment with an inherent state of health. The Biodynamic practitioner facilitates this by creating a container within which decisions are made by the Universal forces that generate and regulate the body. These forces are regarded as the same that shape the embryo, express themselves in subtle rhythmic fluctuations in the body, and are intertwined into all aspects of our lives.
Craniosacral Therapy has roots in Cranial Osteopathy, and is commonly experienced as a compliment or adjunct to massage or other bodywork. Most of the time this is not with a Biodynamic approach. The term Biodynamic refers to a wholeness to which the practitioner orients when placing hands on the client. This wholeness is allowed to breathe and the Biodynamic practitioner performs no physical manipulations or adjustments, but releases his or her will to the healing process inherent in the treatment.

Therapeutic work takes place on many different levels, and requires surrender from both client and practitioner. When the nervous system is allowed to settle, space is created for the client to re-synchronize into a more natural state of balance, which in turn allows the therapeutic process to unfold and reveal itself to the practitioner. This clarity and relationship is grounded in presence and stillness.
"Daniel's very gentle presence and his deep spiritual intelligence made it much easier for me to be vulnerable and relax into the session.
I felt he was attending to levels of my being that few, including myself, often see or interact with.
Daniel is a highly studied and trained artist and healer, and working with him is a rare gift.
I left feeling replenished, yes, but also with a heightened awareness of parts of myself I can further ignite. Empowering!" -A.B.
